Banking

01 — 23What kind of account is this?
A business account/sub-account provided through our banking partner, designed around how creators actually earn. Multi-currency support where the partner supports it. Account details are issued once approved.
02 — 23Who provides the banking rails?
Our partner handles regulated banking and card issuance. Partner naming will be confirmed before launch and disclosed in your account agreement.
03 — 23What happens if my application needs more information?
You'll see an Action required chip on the banking setup page with a one-tap upload or confirmation. We surface partner asks in three places: dashboard, email, and inside the Banking tab.
04 — 23What happens if my account is restricted or closed?
Reasons vary by partner rule. Support can usually unblock inside one business day. We'll flag the cause where the partner shares it and walk you through the resolution.
05 — 23Can I use my own bank as well?
Yes — using OutThere banking gets you the richest signals and rewards, but you're never forced. You can route a portion of earnings through the partner account and the rest to your existing bank.

Rewards

06 — 23How do member rewards work?
When a creator you invited earns through OutThere, 5% of their eligible earnings is paid from our margin — not deducted from them. See the Rewards page for the live calculator.
07 — 23When do rewards start?
When eligible earnings land and are confirmed. Acceptance alone doesn't generate a reward.
08 — 23Why is an amount estimated rather than final?
Some platforms hold or reverse payouts within the same calendar month. The estimate becomes accrued once we've seen the credit confirm in your member's account.
09 — 23What happens if my referred creator stops earning?
After six months of zero eligible earnings, accrual pauses (dormancy). If they earn again, accrual resumes forward-only.
10 — 23What happens if someone applies through more than one person?
First-ref-wins. The attribution locks on first application by email/handle. Subsequent applications don't reassign the sponsor.

Membership

11 — 23Who can join?
Paid creators with a steady earning history. Invite-led is the fastest path — public applications are reviewed but take longer.
12 — 23How do invites work?
Each member can share invite links/codes. Public profile pages can also drive applications. Either way, the invitee's application is tagged with you as sponsor.
13 — 23How many invites do I get?
Stage-dependent. Higher stages unlock larger invite allowances. Full thresholds are pending product/compliance approval before publication.
14 — 23What is my public profile for?
Two things: a presentable home for your links (Linktree-style), and a channel that turns interested creators into vouched applications without you having to share an invite code privately.
15 — 23What is my member stage?
A computed status from real activity — earning consistency, orbit signal, velocity, and network depth. See Stages & Orbit for the ladder.

Privacy

16 — 23Who can see my earnings?
Just you, by default. The dashboard's privacy default is HIDDEN. You can show numbers contextually — never globally.
17 — 23Can I hide amounts in feed events?
Yes. Feed events default to qualitative ("a new best month") rather than quantitative. You can opt into amount-visible variants per-event.
18 — 23What data does OutThere use to create prompts?
Bank webhooks, your platform mix derived from those credits, and timing patterns. No off-platform tracking, no third-party data brokers.

Support

19 — 23My invite link expired.
Generate a fresh one from your dashboard. Old links remain valid for already-started applications but won't create new ones.
20 — 23My application is stuck.
Open the Banking Setup page. If a step shows Action required, that's your bottleneck. If everything's In review for more than four business days, contact support.
21 — 23My KYC link does not work.
The partner sometimes regenerates links after 24h. Tap the step in your dashboard again to get a fresh URL.
22 — 23My payout/reward shows returned or held.
Most commonly a beneficiary detail mismatch. Update beneficiary in account settings; we'll re-batch on the next monthly cycle.
23 — 23I need to update beneficiary or account details.
Account → Settings → Beneficiary. Some changes route through partner re-verification (1–2 business days).
